Crystal Jasmine Named Tea of the Year
We’re greatly honored to announce that our exclusive shipment of Crystal Jasmine tea, won the 2014 “Tea of the Year” challenge at the Nation Tea Drinkers Colloquium in Seattle. We’re talking to our suppliers now to see if we can bring back a similarly exquisite vintage in the 2015 season.
Magic Tea House’s Grand New Opening
Are you crawling the walls without your latest tea fix? Well then, here’s some welcome news: The Magic Tea House management is overjoyed to announce that renovations are finally complete and our Grand Opening is taking place June 29, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM!
On hand, we’ll have the fantastic tea selection you’ve come to expect, live entertainment, resident tea expert Cheryl Braxton, clowns, balloons, and possibly even a green tea pinata. Jasmine tea (Chinese: 茉莉花茶; pinyin: mòlìhuā chá) is tea with added jasmine flowers. It originates from the time of the Song Dynasty, and it is the most famous scented tea in all of China.
